An exact re-creation of Richard III’s skull. In 1485 Richard III was killed at the Battle of Bosworth Field and over time his original burial site was lost. Over 5 centuries later his remains were discovered under a parking lot in London, England.
Prior to his reburial in Leicester Cathedral, his skeleton was extensively photographed, scanned and analyzed with micro-CT imaging. His cause of death is attributed to 2 massive battle-axe blows to his head.
